Morris Catholic High School will be hosting their open house on Tuesday, October 6th From 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Sunday, October 18th, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

The Kolbe Krew Family Rosary Group will be leading a Rosary Rally for the parishes of Sacred Heart and St. Cecilia outside of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church on Saturday, October 10th, at noon.

This is the 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time. As we come together to celebrate the Lord’s Day at our Eucharistic liturgy we hear from both the Old Testament lection and the Gospel proclamation sounds of jealously which are then addressed as being unhelpful.

The Annual Fall Coat Drive, sponsored by the Women's Society is almost here and will run from Sunday, November 14, 2015 to Sunday, November 22, 2015.

We are excited to announce the return of our Thursday evening ‘Formation Night’. Each week from in Hayes Hall we gather at 7:00 PM for a special formation event.

Kim Kalman, an accomplished music minister, composer, and recording artist will be offering a concert of contemporary Christian material from her CDs entitled “Raise Me Up – A Concert of Hope” on Thursday, October 1st at 7:00 PM. in Sacred Heart Church, 4 Richards Avenue, Dover, New Jersey.

The Divine Mercy Chaplet service is held at Saint Cecilia Church at 3 o’clock Friday afternoons. Parishioners of both Sacred Heart and Saint Cecilia are invited to join in prayer at the “hour of mercy” each Friday recalling when the Lord Jesus gave His life for us on the Cross.

The traditional blessing of pets for the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi will take place on Saturday, October 3rd beginning at 1 o’clock in the afternoon in the St. Cecilia Church parking lot.

40 Days for Life is Prayer and Fasting, Peaceful Vigil, and Community Outreach. Take part with Morris County Right To Life at Planned Parenthood, 196 Speedwell Avenue, Morristown, NJ 07960, 8 AM to 8 PM 7 days/week. This 40 day event begins Wednesday September 23, and ends Sunday November 1.

The 10 day excursion includes 12 meals: 8 breakfasts and 4 dinners. The cost is $3,799 (double), $4,099 (single) and $3,769 (triple). The trip includes a panoramic train ride in the Alps. A meeting with details of the trip will be held on October 6 at 7 PM.

Pope Francis has called for a Synod of Bishops on the Family from October 4-October 25, 2015. Please join us every Sunday at 9:30am as we pray the Rosary to Mary, our Virgin Mother, bringing to her our deepest, personal intentions and asking for her intercession that the Bishops’ decisions will reflect God’s Holy Will.

A Fall Retreat is scheduled for, Sunday, October 4th, from 11 Am to 4 PM, at the Loyola Retreat House in Morristown.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process by which non-Catholics learn and normally enter the Catholic Faith. Consecutive RCIA lessons will be held at 3:15 pm on Saturday for children and adults at Sacred Heart Church Hall starting October 3.

Polish Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart next Sunday October 4th. Please join us with your family & friends to worship God in the Polish Language.
