Today we observe the 13th Sunday in Ordinary Time as we gather to celebrate the Lord’s Day. The Gospel Acclamation is: “Our Savior Jesus Christ destroyed death and brought life to light through the Gospel.” This verse brings insight to the theme which is found in the Scriptural texts for this Sunday which addresses the mystery of death.
